[Humor-Poetry]~Can Sakhu Bai ask Why?

Hello Namaste Vanakkam, yo! I’m back again…
Still hot and beautiful I’m, Aayi Shappat, hand on my brain!
Say you didn’t miss me, without telling a lie…
Can Sakhu Bai ask why?

Btw, what do these men think?
That if I speak nice, they can pick me with a wink?
Now all I feel is that there is not one decent guy…
Can Sakhu Bai ask why?

I bought a car, which runs on deejil…
As petrol is costly for a tank fill…
And just now they increased deejil cost by five…
Can Sakhu Bai ask why?

Life is funny, and to screw it would just be an irony…
I believe in Karma, and so not always safe to meddle with destiny!
When someone smiles, it’s always more than what meets the eye…
Can Sakhu Bai ask why?

I wondered what scam they could do with a toothpaste…
When all day on television, I got to hear about Co(a)lgate…
When I understood, I realized India Shining was just a lie…
Can Sakhu Bai ask why?

*****************************************************************
Note: The English language is deliberately twisted at a few places in this poem…so my dearest English pundits, please echoos me…this is purely a desi-flavored masala!!

Translations & Twists:
Aayi Shappat = Mother Promise
Deejil = Diesel
Vanakkam = Welcome/Hello

[Crazy-Poetry]~ Wall in Love: The Sakhu-MJ Networking!! ;)

Life was hell, with the poor me squeezed like lime…
I was happy then, but ten months is quite a long time…
What if my relationship status was “Committed” on Facebook…
He still sent me a fraand request, giving my profile pic just one look…

I looked pretty eating a pizza by hands, but must say he was quite bold…
He seemed cute, though his display pic was that of a one year old…
“Hi…friends call me MJ and I also love to eat”, he gave intro and told…
Accepting his request, I welcomed him into my online household…

He made me repeatedly LOL LOL, by cracking jokes on his tummy…
And sometimes I went ROFL, when he told how strict was his mummy…
Sad was this Sakhu Bai, for the last 10 months and then came this MAN…
Now I feel happy and maybe – just maybe – in love, as in my mind he ran…

All my statuses, good or boring – he’s the first to “like”…
In many of his comments, he’s promised to take me on his bike…
Seeing lots of istree-yan in his friend list, used to make me oh so jealous…
But seeing them all call him “anna, anna”, it is now so much hilarious…

You know, he invited me to his Farmville saying “let us grow some crop”…
Though Sakhu knows no farming, I said “Bring pink cow from over the hill top”…
And then he “pokes” me regularly writing funny liners on my wall…
Temme temme…How the hell can Sakhu Bai control herself? In love, she had to fall… 😀

Note: The English language is deliberately twisted at a few places in this poem…so my dearest English pundits, pls echoos me…this is purely a desi-flavored masala!!

On request from dearest Sakhu Bai, I intend to dedicate these verses to our dear MJ – The theme of this poem was based on listening to all his stories and also knowing his online avatar!!

Translations (for the few non-english words that I’ve used):
1) istree-yan = ladies
2) Anna = brother

The Sakhu Bai series so far:
1. Name is Sakhu Bai
2. Sakhu Bai…in love!

[Crazy-Poetry]~ Sakhu Bai…in LoVe! ;)

I know you would say, long time no see…
Kya bolu – I am fulltu busy, not at all free…
So what’s up, I know you would ask the poor me…
IT job, not as easy like monkeys climbing a tree…

Anyways, I’ve something in secret to tell you all…
Thought of writing down here, as I feel very shy on the call…
Never thought this would happen, but chalo gimme a haaii-faaii…
How to say, hmm…ya…deeply fallen in love is your Sakhu Bai!! 😉

Sitting in the next cubicle, he used to gimme weird looks…
Initially I felt like hitting him hard with piles of books…
Then what to say, uff…he happened to seem nice and cute…
Love was in the air with music in the background, violins and flute… 😛

Feels nice to say, ki your Sakhu Bai is now no more single…
Too much time spent coochie-cooing free on phone, no time to mingle…
Planning is fulltu on, for our marriage which is now love cum arranged…
And oh yes, to ‘committed’ – my Orkut-n-Facebook status, I’ve changed… 😉

Note: The English language is deliberately twisted at a few places in this poem…so my dearest English pundits, pls echoos me…this is purely a desi-flavored masala!! 😀

With permission from dearest Sakhu Bai, I tend to dedicate this poem(??) to all those who have recently been married, engaged, fixed or found love! – The theme of this poem was based on all your stories!! 🙂

As for the title of the poem – well…when Shaky (Shakespeare) can fall in love, why can’t our Sakhu-bai! 😉

Translations (for the few hindi words that I’ve used):
1) Kya bolu – what can I say?
2) Fulltu – is a slang word for ‘wholesale’ or ‘full time’
3) Ki – that
4) Coochie-cooing – its an art of whispering loud between couples (don’t ask me, anything more 😉 )

Naam hey Sakhu-Bai…

kaamwali

Mere bina yahan kuch hota nahi…
Mera bina yahan kapda dhulta nahi…
Wokay, pehele let me introduce myself – bole toh Hi…
I am the one and only kaamwali, naam hey Sakhu-Bai! 😀

Mere bina yahan kuch chalta nahi…
Khachra sab pada rehta hey, wahi ka wahi…
Mummy-ji unko poochti hey, “its not clean, why why?”
Bolte hey bachche, saaf karegi na kaamwali Sakhu-Bai!

Mere bina yahan koi hasta nahi…
Haath mein jhaadu leke koi gaata nahi…
Thoda sa roloon, toh poochte hey “why you cry?”
Dard hota hey yahan pe bhi, in the dil of Sakhu-Bai! 😉

Mere bina yahan kuch sambhalta nahi…
Jo karti hoon kaam, karti hoon main usko sahi…
Chaar aana chillar paagar deke, rulaate hey ye log bhai…
Afterall dreams bhi kuch hote hey, even when it comes to Sakhu-Bai!

Mere bina yahan khaana pakta nahi…
Lekin sabhi bolte hey ki sabzi pakaa nahi…
I go to the market, toh ghurte hey mujhe sab – hai hai…
Aankh maarke poochte hey kameene, Kasa kaay Sakhu-Bai? 😛

English Translation:
************************************************************

Nothing happens here in my absence…
Without me, no clothes are washed…
Wokay, let me first introduce myself – I mean to say Hi…
I am the one and only servant, my name is Sakhu-Bai! 😀

Nothing works here in my absence…
The leftovers remain wherever they are…
Madam asks them “its not clean why why?”
The kids reply, saying it will be cleaned by Sakhu-Bai!

No one laughs here in my absence…
No one sings with a broom in their hands…
If I cry a little, they ask me “why you cry?”
It pains in here too, yes in the heart of Sakhu-Bai! 😉

Nothing is stable here in my absence…
Whatever work I do, I do it all right….
By paying me peanuts as salary, they all make me cry…
Afterall dreams is something that is there, even when it comes to Sakhu-Bai!

No one cooks here in my absence…
But everyone says the dish isn’t properly cooked…
I go the market, and get stared – oh my god…
They wink at me asking, how are you Sakhu-Bai? 😛
